How to make modern look for pictures in the PowerPoint slide

To create torn edges for a picture, do the following:
1. Add the shape from the letter (see How to create letters with pictures in PowerPoint slides), in these examples was used letter l from font Papyrus and a bottom part of letter T of the same font:

2. Just duplicate them and position each of shapes:

3. Group these shapes, format them, and add pictures (see How to make modern picture design in PowerPoint slide for more details).
Add any other adjustments you would like.
