Meeting in Outlook 365
After creating and sending a meeting request by email, the organizer needs to know the status of responses, and the total number of people accepted, declined, or stated their tentative status for the meeting. You can quickly check these numbers in the Calendar view.
When you work with colleagues in a different time zone, from time to time you need to create a meeting in their time zone. Manual time conversion takes some time and you still feel that you made an error. Instead, you can select the correct time zone when you create a meeting, you don't need to know the difference between time zones!
Today more and more meetings are performed online in Internet for participants from different cities, countries and time zones. When you create a meeting in Outlook, you need to assign a correct time for different time zones.
After creating a meeting request, invitees can confirm and refuse to attend this event, or suggest another time. The organizer of the meeting is essential to track confirmations and refusals of participants. In Outlook, it is easy to check the responses for the organizer, but participants do not receive notifications from other attendees.
