How to manage Add-ins

Some function in Excel is available only when the add-in is installed. For example, Solver or the Analysis group is not avalible in standard ribbons, you need to install the add-in before you can use it. See also Using Solver.

To install the add-in, follow next steps:

    1.    Click the Microsoft Office Button ms office button , and then click Excel Options:

    2.    Select the Add-Ins tab:

    3.    In the Manage box, click Excel Add-Ins, and then click Go.

    4.    In the Add-Ins dialog box, place a check mark next to the item named Solver Add-In:

    5.    Click OK.
