Settings in Excel 2003
Creating custom menus in Excel is a fun feature you can use to create a list of the options you use most often, and then plug them into a menu you name and use yourself.
If you prefer to avoid the empty workbook to be created when Excel starts up, you can do so by editing the command line that is used to start Excel.
Excel automatically creates three worksheets in each new workbook, but you can force it to create as many worksheets as you need.
If you are creating chart or diagram in Excel with shapes, you might need to update the shape text automatically depending on the value in a particular cell.
If you assigned a key combination to a macro when you recorded it, you can run the macro by pressing that key combination. If not, you can subsequently assign the macro to the menu item.
If you're willing and able to edit the Registry on your computer, you can change Excel's number of Undo levels.
