You can unlink a chart from its data ranges and produce a static chart that remains unaffected by later changes in the data.

To copy the chart as a picture, do the following:

   1.   Activate your chart.

   2.   On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, choose Copy (or click Ctrl+C).

   3.   On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, choose As picture list, and click Paste as Picture:
